Off-site emergency exercise conducted around Kalpakkam nuclear power plant in TN

An off-site emergency exercise was conducted at Kalpakkam's atomic and nuclear power plants. The exercise tested the preparedness of district administration and DAE site management teams. An incident scenario at the Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor was enacted during the drill. Several villages surrounding the facility were included in the emergency simulation. This exercise aimed to ensure readiness for any unforeseen eventuality.
