CB-CID officials raid multiple locations over fraudulent registration of Palani temple lands

Crime Branch CID teams searched multiple Dindigul locations on Saturday. These searches relate to the alleged fraudulent registration of temple lands. The temple property was valued at Rs 100 crore but registered for Rs 2 crore. Irregularities came to light during a recent temple authorities' verification. The investigation was transferred to CB-CID following political outrage.
