Anurag Kumar named new Delhi Police Commissioner

Anurag Kumar, a 1994-batch IPS officer, has been appointed the new Commissioner of Delhi Police. He was repatriated from the Intelligence Bureau to his parent cadre AGMUT on Thursday. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved his appointment as Commissioner of Police. Incumbent Satish Golcha has been directed to report to the Lieutenant Governor for further posting. This change in leadership takes effect upon the new incumbent's assumption of charge.
