SC to hear on Monday plea against Kerala HC order limiting Waqf Board from taking major decisions

The Supreme Court will hear a plea challenging a Kerala High Court order. This order restrains the state Waqf Board from making major decisions without permission. The High Court also directed the government to appoint its representative on the Board. These directions came while hearing public interest litigations alleging illegal functioning. The Supreme Court agreed to hear the urgent matter on July 20.
