One dead, 24 missing after boat sinks in Indonesia, report rescuers

A passenger boat sank off an Indonesian island, killing one person and leaving 24 others missing. Engine failure caused the vessel to sink near the island of Selayar, south of Sulawesi. Rescuers found 49 people alive while one woman was confirmed dead. The boat's manifest listed 50 people, but 74 were actually on board. An Indonesian Navy vessel is assisting in the ongoing search for the missing individuals.
