Eighth tranche of critical mineral auctions launched

India's mines ministry has launched its eighth critical mineral block e-auction. Twenty blocks across nine states are now available for bidding by industries. This initiative brings the total offered blocks to eighty-eight, reflecting growing sector confidence. These mines are vital for clean energy and strategic manufacturing sectors. Thirteen blocks are newly identified, and seven are offered for rebidding.
