Assam Floods: Over 37,000 Affected in 6 Districts

Assam floods have affected over thirty-seven thousand people across six districts. One flood-related death has been reported in the Sonitpur district of Assam. Lakhimpur district is the most severely impacted, with over thirty-five thousand affected individuals. Floodwaters have submerged more than one thousand hectares of valuable crop area.
