Offgrid Energy Labs, whose battery technology was developed through R&D in India, is betting on zinc-bromine batteries for long-duration energy storage as countries seek alternatives to China's lithium supply chain. With its first UK manufacturing facility operational, the company is targeting AI data centres, renewable energy and grid-scale storage markets globally.
