West Bengal announces Rs 5 lakh grant for 60 Rath Yatra committees

The West Bengal government will offer financial aid to sixty Rath Yatra committees. Each committee will receive five lakh rupees ahead of the festival. Service centers will also be established at seventy-five traditional fairs. These centers will provide essential assistance to visiting pilgrims. Similar facilities will be available along routes for the Shravan Mela.
