Ritabrata-led faction should not be given more time for reply : Mamata Banerjee to EC

Mamata Banerjee urged the Election Commission not to extend deadlines for a rival faction. The rebel group, led by Ritabrata Banerjee, claimed to be the real Trinamool Congress. The Election Commission had granted an extension to the rebel faction for submitting its response. Mamata Banerjee's group submitted its reply within the initial deadline set by the commission. The Trinamool Congress maintained its organizational committees remain valid until 2027.
