Heavy rains batter Himachal, one killed; telecom roaming activated in affected areas

Heavy rains disrupted normal life across Himachal Pradesh on Friday. One person died and two others sustained injuries in separate incidents. Roads were blocked and bridges were damaged by the torrential downpour. The Shimla Met office issued a yellow warning for heavy rains until July 15. Telecom services were disrupted, activating an Intra-Circle Roaming facility.
