Zee calls July 31 EGM to seek nod for Rs 3,143.5 crore warrant issue

Zee Entertainment will hold an extraordinary general meeting on July 31. Shareholders will vote on a preferential issue of warrants to raise funds. The company plans to invest in sports rights, new content, and digital initiatives. Funds will also support the Bullet short-form content platform and kids' edutainment. Potential acquisitions in music, digital platforms, and VFX services are also planned.
