Bayer gets €3 billion in Apollo deal for contraceptives unit

Bayer secured three billion euros in equity from Apollo-managed funds. This deal involves its long-acting reversible contraceptives business. Apollo funds will take a minority stake while Bayer retains control. The financing strengthens Bayer's capital structure and financial flexibility.
