Bharat Petroleum Corporation has purchased one million barrels of US West Texas Intermediate crude oil. This significant purchase was made via a tender for August arrival. The Indian company acquired the oil from the trading house Vitol. This transaction occurred at a premium of approximately six dollars per barrel.
