50 Bangladeshi nationals sent to West Bengal by train for deportation

Fifty Bangladeshi nationals, including 44 men and six women, were deported from Salem to West Bengal via the Howrah Express for repatriation. The group, previously held at a special detention camp, was escorted by a 40-member armed police team. Tamil Nadu police will hand them over to the Border Security Force at the Haridaspur border for final transfer to Bangladeshi authorities.
