Haryana, Rajasthan sign MoU to implement 1994 Yamuna water agreement

Haryana and Rajasthan have inked a crucial agreement, enabling Rajasthan to receive water from the Hathini Kund barrage during monsoons. This pact finally implements a 1994 accord, facilitating water transfer via an underground pipeline. Union Home Minister Amit Shah oversaw the MoU signing, attended by state chief ministers and the Jal Shakti Minister, marking a significant step in water resource sharing.
