West Bengal government exempts essential sectors from diesel container supply curbs

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced exemptions from a recent diesel supply restriction in containers. The move aims to alleviate distress for farmers, hospitals, and emergency services. Vital sectors like healthcare, agriculture, food supply, public services, and tea gardens are now exempt from fuel regulations. Daily purchase limits have also been relaxed, requiring only basic identification for hassle-free refueling.
