IAS success story: Vanmathi, daughter of a taxi driver from rural Tamil Nadu, defied financial hardship and societal pressures to become an IAS officer. After balancing studies with chores and facing marriage expectations, she pursued higher education and was inspired by a female District Collector. Her journey involved four UPSC attempts while working, finally achieving success in 2015. Now serving as Wardha's District Collector, she champions governance reforms and public welfare initiatives.
