K. Bhagyaraj, Veteran Tamil actor, director, and screenwriter, revered as the 'King of Screenplay,' has passed away in Chennai at 73 following a cardiac arrest. Known for his relatable characters and witty dialogues, Bhagyaraj directed over 25 films and acted in more than 75. His passing marks a significant loss to Tamil cinema, coming shortly after the death of his mentor, Bharathiraja.
