PM Modi announces Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for families of deceased in Taratala godown shed collapse, Rs 50,000 for injured

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the families of eight deceased in Kolkata's Taratala godown shed collapse. Injured victims will receive Rs 50,000 from the Centre. The incident, which claimed eight lives and injured 20, is under investigation by a Special Investigation Team formed by the West Bengal government. Three arrests have been made.
