Goyal heads to UK ahead of India-UK trade pact rollout

India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is set to visit the UK from June 25-27 to finalize crucial trade agreements, including the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Double Contribution Convention (DCC), both slated to take effect on July 15. Discussions will center on regulatory alignment, customs coordination, and social security mechanisms to boost bilateral trade and professional mobility, aiming for a $120 billion target by 2030.
