Mysuru Jayadeva hospital to be granted autonomy for local decision-making, says medical education minister Sharan Prakash Patil

Mysuru Jayadeva Hospital will now operate with full autonomy. Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil announced the decision. The Mysuru Unit's Medical Superintendent will handle appointments and projects independently. This move aims to streamline operations and address staff vacancies. Similar autonomy will be granted to the Kalaburagi Jayadeva Unit soon. A separate funding arrangement is also planned.
