Assam CM reviews preparedness for NEET-UG 2026 re-examination

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reviewed preparations for the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination. Over 43,000 candidates will appear at 87 centres in 17 districts. The Chief Minister stressed free and fair conduct, directing security checks, technical audits, and prohibitory orders. Candidates will receive free travel on ASTC buses. A control room will operate from June 19.
