International Yoga Day 2026: Check this year's theme, events, main venue and timings

India is gearing up for the 12th International Day of Yoga on June 21 in Kolkata. The event will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The theme for 2026 will be 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing'. Preparations include nationwide and international programs. A Guinness World Record was set with over four lakh participants in a recent live yoga session.
