Ashoka University appoints Professor Rishikesha T. Krishnan as its next vice-chancellor

Ashoka University has appointed Professor Rishikesha T. Krishnan as its next Vice-Chancellor, effective August 1, 2026. A distinguished scholar and institution builder, Professor Krishnan brings extensive experience in academic leadership and policy. He will succeed Professor Somak Raychaudhury, who has guided the university through significant growth and expansion.
