West Bengal court issues arrest warrant against Abhishek Banerjee aide in land scam case

An arrest warrant has been issued for Sumit Roy, a close associate of TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee. Roy is wanted in connection with a land scam case in Paschim Medinipur district. Police have been unable to locate him despite extensive searches. Roy has approached the Calcutta High Court seeking anticipatory bail.
