No legal provision of a 'separate group' inside Parliament: MP Sagarika Ghose amid TMC rebellion

TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sagarika Ghose said rebel MPs and MLAs cannot legally function as a separate group within Parliament or assemblies while retaining seats won on the party's symbol. Citing the anti-defection law, she said legislators can avoid disqualification only in the event of a formal party merger.
