ED searches TMC MLA Madan Mitra's premises in alleged municipality recruitment scam probe

The Enforcement Directorate conducted searches at seven locations linked to TMC MLA Madan Mitra as part of a probe into the West Bengal municipality recruitment scam. Investigators suspect bribes were paid for ineligible candidates' appointments, with cash and gold allegedly routed through middlemen to Mitra. Over 125 appointments are under scrutiny.
