DVAC conducts raids at two sub-registrar offices in Coimbatore, seizes unaccounted cash, registers two cases

The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) has registered cases against 10 individuals, including two sub-registrars, following surprise raids at Coimbatore sub-registrar offices. Unaccounted cash totaling Rs 2.34 lakh and bribe collection slips were seized. Investigations revealed alleged direct acceptance and collection of bribes for property registrations and certificate issuance.
