Maharashtra government extends educational benefits to Maratha students on par with OBCs

The Maharashtra government has made Maratha students eligible for educational concessions and benefits previously available to the OBC category. This decision aims to improve access to education and skills for the Maratha community. The provisions will be effective from the academic year 2026-27. Implementing departments are directed to make budgetary provisions and technical modifications for online applications.
