Katra-bound coach develops crack, partially separates at Ludhiana; no injuries

A train coach suffered a structural failure near Ludhiana railway station. A portion of the S-2 coach separated shortly after departure. Toilet fittings fell onto the tracks. Passengers felt a jolt and rushed out. No one was injured. Railway officials detached the coach and attached a replacement. An inquiry is underway to determine the cause of the incident.
