'Khalsa tax': Issue taken up with Punjab Chief Minister, says Himachal minister Jagat Singh Negi

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister has raised the issue of a 'Khalsa tax' with his Punjab counterpart. A group of Nihang Sikhs imposed this symbolic tax on vehicles registered in Himachal Pradesh entering Punjab. The group stated it was a protest against entry taxes levied by Himachal Pradesh on out-of-state vehicles.
