Taiwan says 2 dead in military training plane crash

A Taiwanese military training aircraft crashed on Tuesday. The T-34 plane went down at Gangshan Air Base in Kaohsiung. Two pilots, Lieutenant Colonels Lu and Guo, died in the incident. The crash occurred during a simulated engine failure exercise. The Air Force is investigating the cause. President Lai Ching-te expressed deep sadness over the loss of life.
