US allies urge unity in face of growing global security threats

At the Shangri-La defence conference in Singapore, allies of the United States urged greater unity in the face of growing global security threats, warning that divisions among partners could weaken deterrence. Shinjiro Koizumi said cooperation between the US, Europe and like-minded nations must be strengthened as regional and global challenges become increasingly interconnected.
