Chhattisgarh mysterious bat deaths spark concern in Balod; samples sent to Bhopal lab

Unexplained deaths of 50-70 bats daily in Dalli Rajhara, Chhattisgarh, have prompted a joint investigation by the Forest and veterinary departments. Samples have been sent for lab analysis to determine the cause, with extreme heat and infection being preliminary possibilities. Residents are advised to avoid contact with dead or sick bats.
