Two brothers sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for assaulting elderly man and snatching phone in Coimbatore

Two brothers have been sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 30,000 each for assaulting an elderly man and snatching his mobile phone. The incident occurred when the convicts, along with a minor, approached the victim under the guise of asking for directions. The Karumathampatti police arrested the accused after the victim lodged a complaint.
