What needs to be agreed to end the Iran war?

Iran and the US are nearing an understanding on a 14-point memorandum of understanding. Discussions focus on ending the Middle East war and a US naval blockade. In return, Iran would ensure safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz. While progress is reported, difficult issues like Iran's nuclear program and sanctions remain. A deal is not yet imminent.
