68 weapons & large cache of ammo seized from Imphal West; 4 UNLF-P cadres held

In a significant operation, security forces in Imphal West confiscated 68 firearms along with a substantial cache of ammunition from a rebel hideout. Four members of the UNLF-P group were apprehended. Authorities believe the rebels were planning to sell these weapons, many of which may have been pilfered during recent ethnic strife.
