West Bengal govt to track illegal Bangladeshi immigrant deportations, streamline process

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that the state government will monitor data of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants being deported. Those apprehended, outside the CAA ambit, will be directly sent to BSF border outposts for deportation, bypassing jails and courts. Instructions have been issued to police and RPF to arrest and hand over such individuals to the BSF.
