Fake call centre targeting US citizens busted

Karnataka Cyber Command has busted fake call centers in Bengaluru impersonating a US accounting firm, Intuit QuickBooks. Two individuals were arrested for defrauding US citizens by offering counterfeit tax advice and fraudulent software services. The racket operated from four locations, targeting Americans with fake licensing and renewal schemes.
