India, Vietnam looking at joint production of military hardware

India and Vietnam have agreed to jointly produce military hardware, enhancing their "enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership." Defence ministers Rajnath Singh and General Phan Van Giang met in Hanoi, focusing on expanding cooperation in maritime security, defence industry, and regional stability. The two nations also signed an agreement for cooperation in artificial intelligence and quantum technology.
