4 Kg Opium Seized in Chatra, Drug Peddler Arrested

Police in Chatra have arrested a man identified as Ramcharan Dangi with approximately 4 kg of opium, estimated to be worth Rs 25 lakh. The accused was apprehended on the Chatra-Hazaribag Main Road after attempting to flee. Authorities also recovered a smartphone and a substance believed to be jaggery, intended to increase the opium's weight.
