Bribery cuffs on junior engineer, aide

Vigilance officials arrested a government junior engineer and his associate in Nayagarh for allegedly accepting a Rs 1.36 lakh bribe. The engineer had withheld a contractor's pending bills and security deposit for over three months, demanding the bribe for their release. Searches at the engineer's properties yielded seized currency notes.
