Bengal government gives nod for handover of seven national highway stretches to NHAI, NHIDCL

West Bengal has given in-principle approval to transfer seven national highway stretches to central agencies. This move clears the way for long-pending infrastructure development works. The National Highways Authority of India and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd will now undertake these projects. These developments will significantly improve connectivity to neighbouring states and countries.
