14 lakh kanals of state land encroached in Jammu, 3 lakh in Kashmir: Official data

Land mafia has encroached over 17 lakh kanals of state land across Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu division accounts for the majority of this encroachment. Rajouri district is the most affected. Official data reveals the extent of illegal occupation. Authorities have begun expunging these illegal entries from revenue records.
