Delhi HC directs DDA to ensure no parking or commercial activity on Yamuna flood plains

The Delhi High Court has ordered the Delhi Development Authority to stop all activities, including parking and commercial use, on the Yamuna flood plains at Sur Ghat. The court emphasized the area's ecological sensitivity and its Zone-O classification. Religious and commercial activities are now restricted. Alternative parking will be arranged away from the flood plains for devotees.
