More than 4,700 Afghan migrants returned to the country in a single day, Taliban-controlled media reported, highlighting a continued surge in cross-border returns from neighbouring countries.

Bakhtar News Agency said on Wednesday, May 6, that 4,711 individuals, including 897 families, entered Afghanistan in the latest wave of returns.
