MahaRERA cracks down on errant builders; issues notices over 8,212 projects

MahaRERA is taking strict action against over 8,000 housing projects. These developers failed to submit mandatory quarterly progress reports on time. This includes many projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. MahaRERA has issued show-cause notices. Developers have 60 days to comply. Failure could lead to severe penalties, including project registration cancellation.
