Tottenham remain interested in £60m Maghnes Akliouche but an upcoming opponent will push them hard

Tottenham Hotspur may come to regret pushing through a deal for Maghnes Akliouche during the January transfer window following the latest update about the Monaco star’s future.

As Spurs fans would be well aware, Tottenham explored a move for Akliouche until the final days of the January window, but were not able to get it over the line.

That looks like a big error in hindsight, given the key attackers that Spurs have subsequently lost to injuries, and the precarious position they currently find themselves in.
