Arsenal chief personally scouts in-form 25-G/A star in high-stakes derby

Arsenal are interested in signing the Galatasaray attacker Baris Alper Yilmaz at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old Turkish international has been in impressive form, with 12 goals and assists to his name this season. According to a report from Sabah, Arsenal’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, personally scouted the player during the Derby game between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.

West Ham is also keen on Yilmaz. He was on the radar of Tottenham last year.
